3rd and 4th Class 2-6-2020

Hi girls,

I hope you had a lovely week and enjoyed the lovely weather. I’m sure lots of you were outside playing in the sun, paddling pools and maybe even having BBQ’s. Over the next few weeks we are going to try and have as much fun as possible with lots of exciting activities. I have loved seeing you all get creative making bird feeders, lighthouses and lots more so we will try to do more of that!

Keep working on your Virtual P.E Challenge!

Stretching is very important before and after any exercise.  Choose 5 and perform for 30 secs before moving on to the next one.

Cardiovascular is to do with our heart rate.  Getting our heart rates up is very important for our health. Perform 5 of the above for 1 minute and repeat if you can.

Endurance is how long we can stay at an exercise. Choose 3 and perform for 30 secs. Each time you try them try to add 2 seconds to your endurance time.

Look at the activities attached for you to try. Find a nice spot in your garden to go bird watching or if you are out for walks with your family.

Birds can unknowingly eat litter or feed it to their babies in the nest.

Write a letter from a bird to humans making them aware of the damaging affects litter has on birds.  Your letter must ask humans to stop littering and outline the reasons why this must be done.  Use interesting adjectives to create tone and atmosphere.
